For the past few days we had been struggling with some of our end users reporting that the reports we sent them continually showed up blank. We had them forward us the emails they received and indeed the reports were blank.
After some back and forth with our LANDESK counterparts, we identified that it was not enough to have users added to the system, but they also must be assigned to specific scopes if they want to see any data.
In our opinion, this is somewhat absurd. We would prefer to keep management scopes separate from reporting scopes. Having combined these restrictions, in our opinion, is poor application development. We’ve since requested an enhancement request to change the way the product behaves. In the mean time, we will be assigning to these users the All Devices scopes so that our reports will work correctly.
